Current course 2024

The current Munich Brain Course will take place on March 15th and 16th, 2024. The German part (Intensivkurs Neuroanatomie) and the English part (Munich Brain Course) will run in parallel. As in the past, not all neuroanatomical topics can be displayed in one course, so each year has its own focus.

CME points: 18 points
Number of participants: 50 English speaking participants (the dissections take place in groups of 5 participants with one tutor)

Further information

  • You can cancel your registration free of charge if we receive your written notification by January 28, 2024. If you have already paid your course fee, it will be refunded. In case you cancel later and we receive your notification by February 25, 2024, we will charge a cancellation fee of 250 Euro. The remaining amount of your course fee will be refunded. After this date, refunding is not possible.
  • Payment of the course fee is due within 4 weeks after registration, otherwise the registration expires. For registrations within 6 weeks before the course date, an individual payment deadline is given with the invoice.
  • Because of exposure to formaldehyde used for brain tissue preservation pregnant and nursing women are not allowed to participate in the dissections.
  • The dissections take place in the anatomy theater of the institute. Due to possibly low temperatures we recommend to bring warm clothing.
  • You will be provided with examination gloves and disposable aprons. There is no need to bring your own equipment. Please, notify us of latex allergies so that we can provide appropriate gloves.
  • At the beginning of the course you will be given a course folder with the schedule, the instructions for the dissection classes as well as recommendations for restaurants. There is no need for you to print this information from our links.
